वह अपनी प्रेमिका से इसलिए दूर होना चाहते है क्योंकि वे अच्छी तरह से यह जानते हैं कि मौत एक दिन उन दोनों को एक दूसरे से जुदा कर देगी तो अकेले कैसे जीवन जीते है उसका अनुभव उन दोनों को हो जाएगा। कवि अपनी प्रेमिका को ये भरोसा(आश्वासन) दिलाते है कि वे जल्द ही वापस आयेंगे जैसे कि सूर्य प्रतिदिन आता हैं। कवि अपनी प्रेमिका से यह वादा करते हैं कि उनकी जो वापस लौटने कि जो गति है वो उस चमकते हुए सूर्य से भी तेज हैं। आख़िरकार कवि इस बात पर जोर देते हैं कि वे लोग, जो एक-दूसरे से सच्चा प्यार करते हैं, वे कभी भी एक दूसरे से जुदा नहीं होते है और न ही कभी मरते हैं बल्कि अंत में उनकी मिलन स्वर्ग में होती हैं।
